Open Positions

We are always looking for motivated individuals who want to be part of an open and creative environment. Whether as a model, instructor, or in another capacity, we value professionalism, dedication, and a passion for the arts. (Please note that we only employ instructors who have completed the full three-year program at The Florence Academy of Art.)

FAA Sweden is currently hiring for select positions:

• Nude Model: 1-5 days
• Portrait Model: 5-15 days

Jobs that require the model to pose nude for more than a week, usually 3-5 weeks, are referred to as a “long pose”. During these jobs the model will hold the same pose for the entire time. The purpose of these long periods is to give students the time necessary to make careful observations, make corrections, and push their drawings and paintings to a very high level of realism.

We also have clothed portrait jobs. Much like the long pose, these jobs require the model to pose in the same position for the entire time, although these typically require the model to sit instead of stand. Portrait jobs typically last 1 week to 3 weeks and can be up to 5 weeks for advanced projects.

There is no prior work experience required to apply. You will need to understand English or Swedish and you are welcome to contact us in your preferred language. If you are interested in modeling nude you will be happy to know that we maintain a serious and professional atmosphere. We have models posing nude every day so it is nothing unusual for us. All ages and body types are welcome to apply.

With your application please include a picture of your face and a full-body picture of you standing (no nude pictures). This is only for our records and will not be shared.
