Alumni Fellowship

As an annual tradition, we host an event where alumni, old and new, meet and paint together for two weeks. During this time members of the alumni will be sharing experiences in a creative and open environment. The inaugural event was held in August/September 2021. Based on the feedback from the past couple of years, the schedule for 2023 will include:

• Painting from the model: we hire the models and you come up with the projects.
• Field trips/landscaping: we’ll visit an exhibition or pack up our painting gear in mini buses and spend the day painting in the archipelago.
• Guest lecturers: we’ll finish off a day painting together by listening to an inspirational talk.

Thanks to some generous donations we are happy to offer scholarships for the entire tuition fee. (Travel to and from the fellowship, housing and accommodation is not included. Michael will gladly assist if you need help with finding a place to stay.)

The spaces will be limited to ten people. We have kept the application process simple – send an email to application@florenceacademyofart.se with your name, which week you would like to attend (or both). We need your application by April 15, 2023.
